Lynn Goldsmith
Lynn Goldsmith was born in Detroit in Michigan, USA. She graduated magna cum laude from the University of Michigan in 1968, with a bachelor of arts degree in English and psychology. Her award-winning photography has appeared in thirteen books, countless publications – including LIFE, Newsweek, TIME, Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, National Geographic, People, The New Yorker and Sports Illustrated – and in numerous museum collections. Goldsmith is also a songwriter, an Island Records recording artist and a director, joining the Director's Guild of America in 1971; she was a director of the first-ever network-television rock show and the first 3D-animated music video.
